Rhino Shield’s Protective Finish Coat (PFC) combines the great benefits of the original Durable Finish Coat system with greater breathability and higher cold weather flexibility. PFC is an exterior elastomeric acrylic waterproofing ceramic coating that offers ample insulation and soundproofing properties to higher-risk wood and other substrates. Our Protective Finish Coat is designed for both walls and trim and is meant to be applied over our Rhino Shield Self Priming Coat for the most optimal coverage. Together, this system offers two steps of ceramic protection and benefits, helping to combat mold, mildew, and algae.

Our Protective Finish Coat is ideal for humid as well as cold weather climates and can be used on walls and trim over the Rhino Shield Self Priming Coat or ASB. This product is best used on a variety of surfaces, including but not limited to exterior primed wood, concrete, brick, masonry, stucco, and primed metal.
